Isabel Boyer

Isabel Boyer has represented the interests of patients and the public in the health sector since 1998, as a member of several national advisory committees and as a non-executive director of The Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust until 2005. As a director, she took great interest in the Trust´s charity, helping to expand the Trust´s fundraising activities, and she continues to support the Trust in this way.

Mrs Boyer is the patient representative member of the national advisory group on Healthcare Associated Infection and Anitmicrobial Resistance ( ARHAI). She is lay member of UKAP, the UK Advisory Panel for Healthcare Workers Infected with Blood-borne Viruses, and is also a lay assessor/panel member for NHS R&D grants in the fields of healthcare associated infection and invasive procedures.

Mrs Boyer was educated at Stanford University (B.A. in Human Biology) and at London Business School (M.B.A). She has worked in finance and management consultancy and is now a director of a commercial property investment group.
